Krystal Marie (born November 24 in 1982) is an American political commentator. She was previously a presidential candidate for Senate in the United States, as well as a television presenter for MSNBC. She was frequently a contributor to The Huffington Post and co-host of The Hill’s Rising, along with Saagar Enti. She has been featured on various networks' programs, including CNN, Fox News, Fox News, CNBC, Fox News, and Real Time alongside Bill Maher. Ball was married to Jonathan Dariyanani as of 2020. Ball attributes her increased enthusiasm for politics to having a mother during 2008's primaries. In addition, she viewed the US election results during her time in Jordan. She was able to see how the outcome affected people in the country and gained an appreciation of the worldwide impact US politics has on people around the world. She was a Senior Fellow of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party nominee in Virginia's 1st District of the Congressional Congress in 2010, but lost to Rob Wittman, who is the incumbent Republican. She hosted The Cycle, a MSNBC TV show that she hosted from June 2012 until August 2015. She created the People's House Project (a political action committee that supports Democratic causes) in May of 2017.
